Game Dev. commonly means two things: Game Developer or Game Development . Of course, the meaning of this should be interpreted according to the context in which it is inserted. In the case of this blog's name, "Coffee with Game Dev. ", was chosen in order to convey the idea of a "chat"/"prose" casual about game development. Important to note that the word "Game Developer" does not mean the same as "Game Designer", and in turn, both also doesn't means the same as "Graphic Design". I will do another article about them some other time, but here I'll focus on the Game Dev. But, the Game Developer can be any professional which works with game development, regardless of your professional area.
